George Malhiot is a Marine Surveyor with the USSA with about two decades of experience in the repair, upgrade and maintenance of power vessels. He enjoys boating, kayaking, and a little fishing, Scuba, and White Water Rafting all from his home base of Southern California.

Warren Lees, Engine Surveyor
Warren Lees has been a mechanic for over 40 years, from building race cars to the boat building industry which led him into the Marine Industry as a Mobile Mechanic for Gas and Diesel Motors and it’s marinization as well as Electronics.
As a Mechanical Surveyor, Warren helps our clients in identifying and preventing any issues with respect to the vessel's propulsion. His overall goal is to consult and to report what is seen and verify the vessel’s performance.
Jeff got involved in boating at an early age and has continually been involved in boating ever since, bringing nearly 4 decades of boating experience to the table. He even worked as an ASA certified sailing instructor for a period of time sharing his love of sailing and boats with others.
Jeff served in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years as an Aviation Support Equipment technician where he gained knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, power generation & distribution, gas turbine compressors, gear reduction, jet engines, avionics, structural repairs, and basic welding and brazing. Being involved in the “Zero-Defect” aspect of aviation maintenance, and a successful tour of duty as a Drill Instructor, Jeff has impeccable attention to detail skills noting things that the average person would not notice.
After retiring from the Marine Corps, Jeff transferred these skills and his love of boating by starting his second career as an Operations Manager at one of the West coasts premier boat/ship yard and custom builder. In this position, Jeff was able to apply his skills at they apply to pleasure craft, luxury yachts, work boats, ferry boats, tugs, and fireboats. Being the “forever interested” student he learned about repair of damaged FRP structures, vessel damage evaluation, wooden boat repairs, vessel construction, repair of metal and aluminum vessels, hull extensions & modifications, vessel modifications, vessel painting, all aspects of vessel maintenance, and worked closely with USCG inspectors on inspected vessels. Jeff also worked with Marine Surveyors on all types of vessels mostly as they related to vessel purchases and damage evaluation & estimating for insurance repairs. Jeff is currently available for clients looking for service in the Gig Harbor, Washington area.
